Generally, I try to find the cause of the problem that holds you from reaching your goals, and try to understand what moves you in order to be able to support you. Therefore, I don’t work with “food plans”, but rather with “protocols”. These protocols will be the steps of your journey with me. And you will get to know parts of them, if there is a need, already throughout the first consultation.
And what does this mean, Lorena?
It means that in the first consultation we will have a long conversation about all your habits. Not only eating habits, but also the bowel habits, sleeping habits, living habits, family situation, work, routine, etc. This is the only way I can identify flaws or triggers, and outline a plan that matches your body, your needs, and of course, your situation and daily routines!
In a consultation, I will do metabolic and symptomatic screenings to understand if your body is in need of special attention, if there is a possible cause of you not reaching your goals or even a genetic predisposition to certain behaviors and habits, whether dietary, emotional, physiological, or behavioral. And if any of these patterns is perceived we need to focus on those rather than already do a protocol, because there is no point in treating the symptom without treating the cause.
You can expect longterm results
In the search for results that last, there is no point in just having a diet plan that will bring an immediate result in terms of measures, but that will not last in the long term. This won’t promote health!
